Hello and Welcome:INTRODUCTION My name is Barbara Schwartz and I am the creator of EQUILIBRIUM in Los Angeles, California. My own health problems inspired me to examine my life. When I made the commitment to change my endless meaningless cycles of painful destructive patterns I reached new levels of awareness in my personal growth and development. I now choose and am guided to share my knowledge, awareness and spiritual insights with people who tired of self-imposed suffering and it's consequences.
My journey started in 1988 as I began my quest to improve my health. Because of my restricted thinking, stuck patterns and feeling overwhelmed, I developed the physical manifestations in the form of candida and hypoglycemia These two diseases were a devastating combination that literally stopped me in my tracks.
As I searched for a way to free myself from the candida and hypoglycemia I discovered the core reasons for my symptoms which were expressed as candida and hypoglycemia. The truths I discovered led me to study many different areas of body, mind and spirit. The more I learned, the more I began to change my beliefs, thoughts, feelings and actions. My health began to improve, as if magically. The illness brought me to a new level of understanding and to a place where I wanted to help the world or at least my little corner of the world.
I formed
EQUILIBRIUM, while I was an elementary school teacher in California.
I began using some of my training in my classroom. My students' learning,
behavior and self-esteem improved dramatically. I started working with
clients after school hours and on week-ends. This was very satisfying
for both the clients and myself. My clients, both children and adults,
experienced liberation and transformational shifts in their lives. (See
